How to remove this license plate

Hi everyone, new member here and quite new to Photoshop. I'm wondering what would be the best way to remove this license plate? Insert image doesn't seem to be working and I can't post full links yet...

You can try duplicating the opposite side , dragged, transform and blend to cover up the plate on the other side.

If it doesn't look good the next idea needs a bit of patience and imagination, using the clone tool, copies of the front bumber next to plate and re-construct that area to cover plate.

Saw the image now, my suggestion not applicable

I did as DV8 described. Selected an area from the left side, reversed it, moved it to the right side, transformed (warp) a little, added a layer mask and masked some areas, did a little brush work while matching some colors.

Did this in about 15 mins, so it's not perfect.

Thanks for the replies guys. IamSam, awesome work! It looks great. I'm trying out what DV8 suggested. Working with layer masks too (first time doing this.)
