How to remove a text from image?

How to remove the text from a image and put my custom text. It is a wordpress header image from "evening shade" wordpress theme.

Why not just remake the header? Make a new document the same size in Ps and make it how you want it. Upload it and name it the same thing and wala, new header..
 
I don't want to use a different header, I would like to use this. So I just want to know is it possible to remove the text from the image?

I want to remove this text:

" A quick view of Evening Shade. Enjoy this Evening Shade Theme but did you know there is a Pro Version?"

which is on the transparent line. And i don't think i can remove it on my wordpress dashboard because this text is embedded in the image, I think. But basically I want to know how to remove text from image with photoshop.
 
if image is flattened try using the clone tool havent seen the image, myself so hard to suggest which route to take

That shouldn't be there when you install the Theme. Try installing it and see if it's there, it should only be there for the "preview"..
 
I have already installed it and the text is on the image. This is a link to the header image.

I will try with the clone tool, though i am not very familiar with photoshop, but i hope i can do something.
 
Meh, like i said, make a new header and be done or buy the Pro version, btw, did you check in the control panel in WP to see if it's editable??

Your best bet is to make a new layer that overlays the text that's in the see through box.

As a side not a added a bit of Gaussian blur on the box to make it fade better.
 
I would try sticking some tape on the image(on your monitor) then peeling it off.give that a try ....let me know if that helps:mrgreen:
 
Actually, i had to pay a guy in fiverr to remove the text and he did it very well. It looks like there is never been text on the image. But thanks for the help anyway photoshop "gurus" :mrgreen:
 
Guess this post is over with...honestly, my opinion is that I like the colors but the image and text aren't appealing. This calls for a new header.
