Hi guys,

I need some help recreating this menu nav, namely the stitching look around the background. Anyone know any good tutorials on this or an easy way to recreate this?

Thanks!

Separate layer of the size you want to be embossed and use the settings I showed. It sounds to me as though you're embossing the whole image

Ok, I'm lost (not a stretch) here. Is this what your going for?

If it is,

Two layers.
One for the BG color etc,.

One for the stitches or holes......(don't know for sure)

Add the layer style to the stitches or holes layer.

Also added a inner glow.

Use this layer style settings....
