How to post links?

I'm new to this forum, and I was just curious as to when I would be able to post links in the posts I make. Is it after you post a certain number of times? If so, how many?

After 5 posts you can post links.
The restriction is there to prevent spam links.
Spammers don't hang out and post 4 or 5 miscellaneous comment in order to post spam.
Sorry for the inconvenience but we think it's necessary.
