Specific How to personalise text to look like an engraving

Hi guys

i currently own a personalised gift company and i am trying to figure out how to photoshop text onto one of my silver engraveable items, to make it look real and not cheap.

I have attached an image of one of my lighters that have been engraved, and also an image that i tried to photoshop myself but it looks awful.

Any help on how to do this will be massively appreciated.
