Hello,

First, apologizes for being a newbie if the answer to my question has already been written somewhere in the forum ; in that case I didn't found it.

Otherwise, here is my problem : for example, I have an image BirdOnTree.jpg (or BirdOnTree.png).
I just want to keep a part of my image (in that case the bird). Then I cut that part, erase the part of the picture I don't need, and I stick the part with the bird. To finish, I resize the frame so it is adjusted to the part I want to keep (the bird). (Hem... I suppose there is a more easy way to do all that, but I don't know it. Whatever, it doesn't matter I think)

Here is the question : how can I save that part of my original picture WITHOUT compressing it again ?

I don't want to lose any quality of the previewsly picture ; since I just want to save a part, is this possible ?

Thanks to you if can explain me how to do it, I get crazy by not finding any answer on this.

I'm not sure what you're doing to "resize the frame," but it sounds like you just need to trim, or crop, the image after you've removed what you don't need. Essentially, the resolution should stay intact as long as you are not transforming the layer/image--free transform, or numerically.
