Hey there.

I'm trying out some new things, and I need to know what this effect is called/how to search for it or just how to make it if any of you can help out. It's basically colored fluid being dropped into water, but I'm having a hard time finding a tutorial for it. Similar to a lava lamp effect or swirls on decorated glass. Let me know if you can help/if it's doable in photoshop.

possibly liquify filter, under filter in menu 5th one down

brushes to make the things i guess, then liquify as said above (by iDad :D) and added some collor in a layer above and set the layer to soft light or play with it (my favourite blending mode)

could be... but a photo should be made of... waith what i'm going to say will not make sence.. :(

Thanks for the replies.
It is a photo, but I agree with Burned Ice; real life phenomena should be photoshoppable :-p.

I am a newbie to. It`s the liquifying Filter. You can play with it all day. I have never come across a tutorial for it.
