Hello!
I have faced a problem.
I have main image template (with many layers, I will explain), on which I paste image and try to resize and aline it to specific region using commands transform> scale (to set it's aspect ratio parameters so it will fit with it's width withing borders of main image) and then I do content aware scale to bring it to the top of the image. But it doesn't work because, I have images with higher width or height, and action places them incorrectly. They don't stretch and don't aligncorrectly.
I will attach image to show you.

Second minor question, how do I make that the image is saved with name from the pasted image and not the original name ? Example: main template name is templ and image name of the image that gets pasted on top layer of templ is img01, how to make Action so that after all steps the final templ is saved for web with name img01, so basically Action must somehow get the name of img01 and paste it to image name thus saving it as img01.jpg but not as templ.jpg Third tiny question, how to assing a tag that is always added not depending on file name, for instance a5t some point of action step it saves it as img01_february img02_february e.c.t. so _februarry gets automatically added at the end

Please help, your help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi John! I jsut saw this post so I hope you have found a solution to your problem, but in case you haven't, I think you can use rulers and grids. I'm not clear what you're trying to do exactly, but if you use the default move tool (V) and activate rulers (View > Rulers) you can drag out a magnetic grid from the ruler on the side by clicking the ruler with the move tool, and then moving it right/left/down/up to where your green rectangle in your picture is. Then you take your layers one by one and transform it with Ctrl + T. First align the image with the grid, it will stick. Then grab the other unstuck (to the grid) end, hold shift (to resize proprotionally) and drag and adjust to the size and crop of your liking. I hop this helps!

Cheewii, thank you for your helpful answer. I made borders using rulers, but what align commmand I must use so it will attach the pasted image into top grid ? Because I must make action so it will do it automatically.

colleague Thank you, I will try this and reply my results in this thread.

P.S. Nobody still knows how to make file name transfer possible, which I asked in the first post above ?

you have to make an action that starts with the image
then all results will have the name image01 and so on

mayby an action that "places" the template after resizing the image

if you run a batch , you can add "februari" to the names

how many layers is the template ?
can you merge a few layers to simplify the template
can you post the template or a simular one

colleague, I did some tests, and maybe have come to solution, I divided 1 main background image with different layers into separate background files, and instead of importing unique images to them, each time new image is processed it copies THE background files to bottom layer, thus saving with same name as uniq template, but I have to test it more, and also those align tips you gave me earlier, I will answer in a day or two, unfortunately I have no time currently to fully test it. But many thanks for your helpful tips!

hawkeye, thank you, but unfortunately I have read this topic before posting here, and it didn't help because I have different layers and my borders are not actual - but virtual.
