Hey!

I guess the title says almost everything.
I need to get to know the size/weight of a custom shape, measured in points.
I basically need to get to know which of two almost similar shapes are the physically biggest (the shapes are quite organic and complex, so I'm not able to tell from looking at them).

I hope I've made myself/my problem clear, and that someone are willing, and able to help.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Beha

Welcome to PhotoShop Gurus

Well you could get all that measurements via INFO panel, window>Info "F8", that will be for profile color values, and coordinates.

For size, perimeter, circularity, height, width, etc you could go to, Analysis> record measurements, make sure that before you get any measurements via Info or record measurements, you need to have created a selection or taken the ruler tool and set a measurement length between two points on your image.

this may help

thank you so much, it was exactly what I needed to know. I'm feeling that, Analysis > record measurements are going to become one of my best friends the next couple of weeks!!
