Logo.jpg

So this is part of a logo which i scanned to photoshop. Its high quality pic and when small you cant see the dots but I am using this for a website so when uploading to chrome you can see the dots but on firefox and explorer you can. I tried using a brush layer with the same colour and then changing the blend but it does not work.

here is another picture with the dots Capture.JPG

So "when uploading to chrome you can see the dots, but on Firefox and Explorer you can "....sounds like the image works on all of them.so the the dots are within the image?

No uploading it and previewing it on chrome via dreamweaver does not show the dots but on Firefox and Explorer it does

Is it your logo?

If so, I could redo it for you in Illustrator.

OMYGOD! Boo really would you do that for me? Its not my logo but am a student and am doing a project for my ICT Alevel, where I have to find a an organisation and client whom I can make a website for. They gave me the logo but dont have a soft copy :( and I really dont know what to do. I would love if you could do it for me :)

If you don't have access to rewriting it and you need to use that image you'll need to use a selection tool select the pink area delete the rest, trace it in nother words.

I do have a hard copy on a logo, if that helps? I scanned using my epson scan software using 720dpi

INKZ said, could do it, I don't know if he will charge you, but if your alternative is to do-it-yourself it sounds like you have the right material to do it easily

I honestly wouldn't know where to start or how to remove the dots.....

Maybe someone will be along shortly who may have an idea on this. If all else fails I will redo for free.

Open the image using Photoshop. use a selection tool if it's for the web just use your lasso tools, the pen tool would be best but if you're not familiar that would be tough. once you select your area copy it paste it, you will have a new layer delete the old layer, save it as a.PNG you're done

GUYS DONT WORRY!

I basically just previewed it on chrome via Dreamweaver, took a screenshot of the logo with no dots and cropped it using photoshop! its perfect and is not bad quality :) Logo2.jpg
