How to draw lines on a map to represent rotes!

Very new at this, but would like to know how to draw lines on a map image to represent routes travelled. These routes will then be hyperlinked in Dreamweaver.

Probably, using Pen Tool

Yeah, use the pen tool. Fill Empty and Stroke whatever color you like. You can also choose the Dotted Line look in the stroke options of you want that. Then, simple draw out your road. You can curve parts that need curved by either click and hold and drag when you create your point, or curve it after you draw your points with the "Convert Point Tool" under the pen tool.

Pen tool is probably the simplest way, for sure.
