hello, I am a total newbie in photoshop and need to learn how to do this:

I have a picture and I need to replace the text and put there something I want.

the question is, how to create exactly or very similar looking text?

here is the picture:

Any advices or tutorial for creating text like this would be much appreciated :)

This would be difficult for even an experienced user and you say you're a total newbie. Looks like you're trying to start at the top. Instead you should start with simpler things and learn all the basics before you try this type of thing.

I agree with hawkey. It isn't just replace text but recreate red ribbon. I'm not newbie and i'm not 100% that i could do that.

I agree with Hoogle. This would be a time-consuming project, but not difficult for someone with intermediate skills to re-create. The text is probably some version of a readily available font maybe tweaked a little.

It's an uber-cool graphic, I must admit. I'm not surprised you want to use it.

OK not as good but roughed this up for you if you want to add some more effects go for it couldnt find a font that suited create your type along a path and then reverse it. If I get some more time I will do a better 1 for you but only working inbetween rendering some other stuff and that takes up most my ram so photoshop is very jerky for me at the moment so I gave up.
