How to create tan lines

Good evening!

Going against all ideas of removing tan lines I need to know how to create them.
If anyone can help me, I will be grateful!

Hello and welcome.

Just add a solid color adjustment layer to the color of the tan...........then invert it's layer mask. This will always be quickly adjustable.

Create a selection of the area you wish to be tan, add to the SCAL layer mask.

If this does not make sense, let me know and I will make a quick tutorial.

Actually my knowledge is very basic and I need to create a poster that shows the tan lines.
I really believe I will need a tutorial if you can help me.

Do you have any knowledge of Ps layer masking? Do you have knowledge on making selections?

Here's my basic run down.....

Original Photo.........


Photo layer with a solid color fill adjustment layer above it, set to "Multiply" blending mode.
Opacity to 60%


Here is my tan line selection....


Tan line selection added to the solid color fill adjustment layers-layer mask.
Select the layer mask and fill with black.
(Silly man..............he lost a bet with his friends!)
