how to create custom glass blocks ?

Hi, Just look at this image :

I want to create similar effect using glass / distort filter but can't achieve it somehow co'z that filter doesn't allow you to add glass with custom shapes or horizontal / vertical.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

ahhh displacement MAP, now that's what I was thinking but didn't had a good map to continue, alas the .psd ain't there in that post.

I know. That's a good image. I guess you could duplicate it. But you could easily copy it from the example. I don't think it matters what the resolution is, only the shadows and highlights.
