How to create curved lines of a bowl

Hi all,
I'd to design a noodle soup bowl like below. Can someone please show me how to do that? Or point me to some tutorials. Thank you very much.

I suggest the Pen Tool for this. How familiar are you with the Pen Tool?

Then it's just a matter of using the Pen Tool and other Shape Tools to create the shape.

Here, I used a bowl for my template, on a new layer for each shape, I lowered the opacity to 70% and used the Pen Tool (set to shape) to create the shapes. When done, raise the opacity to 100% for each of the shape layers.
