How to clean up a jagged drawing

I have a drawing that I want to edit in photo shop. I need to clean up the edges, make them sharp, crisp and more detailed.

I'm using an older version; Adobe Photoshop CS2.

You can see the attached. I'm curiuos what techniques can be used.

My advice would be to recreate it with the pen tool. You'll get a better line but because PS is pixel-based, no matter what you use, it will have some jaggies at that size and resolution. Now if you do it in Illustrator, that may not be the case, as AI is a true vector program.

Depending on what you want to do with it, you could increase the size and resolution. If it's for the web, you can leave it at that size. Redoing it with the pen tool will make a lot of difference.
