how to change yellow color to orange in an image?

hello.... i want orange color in am image in place of the yellow color will any one help me out in that???

A lot of people like to use the Replace Color tool, but I prefer to use a Hue/Saturation layer because it is so flexible, and can be a powerful skill to have under your belt for all sorts of situations. Fixing Chromatic Aberrations for instance. Just open the Hue/saturation layer above the layer with the yellow, and click on the eye dropper at the top left of the properties panel, and then on the yellow hue you want to change. Now drag the hue slider to get the new orange colour, but note that you will possibly need to adjust the saturation slider as well. Only the yellows will be targeted. If there yellows you want to leave unchanged, then paint them out in the layer mask with a black brush. If the target colour range is not big enough, then you can use the four sliders at the bottom of the hue/saturation layer to broaden them - or the other way round.

This shows the before and after - the black in the layer mask showing the original yellow. Note that where the yellow moves into green it has not been affected, but dragging the slider(s) above the red arrow to the right would fix that. I'm sure you get the point

OK. That's nice, but I am now going to burst your bubble, because when I look at the example above, the change in hue is directly related to the hue beneath it. The new colour is changing according to the original, so instead of a band of orange, the post edit colour go from yellow to red and that's not ideal. So in your case, I have changed my mind and will advocate Replace colour as the way to go.

It's easy to follow. Image > Adjustments > Replace colour. Click on the colour you want to change, and it will appear in the upper box. You can add to the selection by either using the eye dropper with the little plus sign, or moving the Fuzzy slider to the right. Now use the Hue slider to get the new colour, and you get a nice solid band of orange.
