I new here and I'm looking for the answer to a problem I'm facing which may be quite simple for most of you, but has left me baffled.

When I get an EPS file from one client it comes as CMYK, but uses combinations of the four colors to form black. That couses problems with registration when it's printed as a separation in our newspaper.

Is there a way to convert combination black to pure black in Photoshop?
