Hi,

I have 100's of images with a lots of boxes (with round corners) in it which aren't uniformly arranged.
I want to crop out each of these boxes into a new file.

I can do this manually but is there anyway I can automate this process? Is there anyway Photoshop can identify borders and select them?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. My first post :)

100 photos is not that much at all and will be done manually way before you figure out how to automate it. if position of the boxes is not the same i don't belive it is possible to automate at all. good luck and enjoy practice.
if the box selection is the same on all, you may try to save - load the selection in order to make your work faster and uniformed.

ok. cool. thanks.

one more related thing.

If a page has a border with some white space in the margin, is there anyway I can delete the white space and crop the image just to the border line. Is there any shortcut?

Thanks.

try if this fits your needs...
open desired images
file-automate-crop and straighten photos
you will get copies of your photos, hopefully automatically cropped way you wanted.
alternatively, you may do the action involving canvas size, but just in case images are at least same proportion.
