Hi,

I am creating a logo with several different graphical and text elements and since I want to make different versions of it, meaning with elements of different colors and different text styles I would like to know if there is a way to align the different elements every time exactly the same way....... same distance to each other same angle and same size.

I can of course put all versions together "manually" but it would be nice if there would be some better and more efficient way to to that.

Thanks and regards,
Tom

Sorry, can't post a picture right now but .....

Lets say I have a picture and some text, both separate object. Now I put those two together In a new file and align them in the way I want the final logo to be, and now i am done with this, no problem.

My problem is that I want to make different color versions of the logo and for that I have the pictures and also text available in different colors and text styles. Now I have to align them in exactly the same way as mys first logo that is finished.

Therefore I wanted to know if there is a more efficient way to align these elements always exactly same as the first logo I made, in the same angle, distance etc that I get perfectly similar logos in different colors.

Regards,
Tom

Thanks for your answer but I couldn't find anything that is really explaining how this works.

Click View and make sure that Snap is ticked as well as Snap to - Layers. This will make it easy to align a layer with another. Try it and see if it helps.

Thanks for the link, very nice explanation ........ that's just what I was looking for.
