How to Adjust Photo Tone Values based on Eyedropper sample?

I scanned an image of my Gray Scale & Value Finder card used for drawing and painting.

This grayscale card goes from WHITE to BLACK, with incremental tones of gray between.

Looking at my scanned image, the BLACK is not completely black.

So if that isn't black, the other tones are off as well.

Therefore, I'd like to change the black to BLACK (RGB 0,0,0) and have the other tones adjust accordingly.

How can I do this if possible?

Thanks.

PS: I've attached the image in question.

Open the file and add a curves adjustment layer.
Use the 'black' eyedropper to sample your black color in the scheme

BTW, I suggest you do re-calibrate your scanner following the manufacturer's settings...
