Hi. I've seen this type of effect used on photos, mostly for fashion ads, and I'm wondering if anyone knows more or less how its done. Possibly, it has to do with lighting during the photo shoot itself. But it seems to me that there is also a significant deal of processing in Photoshop.
Mostly what interests me is that quality that retains a photographic look, while at the same time gives the image a somewhat plastic and unrealistic feel to it.
