Uhm, yeah, I want to make my text in Photoshop look just like on this picture?

Thanks for the quick response :>

If you had to redo this image in Photoshop, how would you do it?

ditto hoogle, or a low res scan

i guess if you want to be ambitious you could add a texture layer and use a clipping mask to apply it only to the text. or get creative with effects on the text layer.

or just olower the resolution of your image here i typed the text lowered the resolution right down enlarged the image saved as jpeg on lowest setting I am sure with some playing around you will get it right

or easier option is write your text save as low quality jpeg open saved file with a normal picture viewer zoom right in to desired amount take a screen shot you will see same quality as you are after paste screen shot back in photoshop but crop just the portion you want if you want this to actually end up within an image then I guess the ways I suggested are no good but you can do same things with the text in a new document put save it as a png etc so you dont have any background then you can transport the text back into your image as a layer sounds complicated doesnt it

ok easier but is it as effective no
A) type your text
B) right click text layer and rasterize
C) filter > blur > blur more and repeat a few times
D) filter >artistic>dry brush and play with settings
E) adlust levels or exposure to get the washed out look

I just didnt think it was only because I was working on a 3d film and needed a font as I was browsing through 1000's of them I saw a range of pixalated fonts and thought oh I know where that could be useful if only an hour beforehand hey
