How do you remove magazine scan lines?


Also I'd like to remove only the scan lines in the middle of the pic, I'd like to keep the rough-ish texture of the magazine page itself.
 
Be like water, it can flow here and there as strength yet flexibility:mrgreen:
 
Original size as in the original size of the pic not the original pic itself.. the one you posted is resized. I wanted to use this for a wallpaper. To the person who googled I saw that image but it's not large enough. Thanks anyway guys!

OK do you have Photoshop? If so this is not too tough to do, Content aware will work quit well on this image, and should keep any texture. As Sam showed Cloning and Healing also work well.I did a different approach, I used Auto align and auto blend and got this with a few clicks. As Paul pointed out other versions with a google search, I copied and pasted them together, PS did this...
