How do you do this effect? Need help.


For your 1st example image, read how I got to the last image in this thread:

Then, reduce the contrast (a lot), reduce the saturation, and add a conventional cross processing effect, and you should be able to come up with something pretty close to the 2nd image attached below. The initial lighting and colors in the scene are wildly different, so the results are obviously going to be different, but this should give you a pretty good idea of the direction to take.
