How do you apply filters, settings, levels etc. to a photo in 1 step?

When I edit photos I'm going through a long process by going through each step or modification that I use. Is there a way to gather up all settings that I save (i.e. level, selective color, channel mixer, curve settings, etc.) and just apply it to the photo without having to go through the long process of adding these adjustments one by one for every picture I edit?

need insight.

thanks guys and gals!

It sounds like you're looking to apply the same filters/settings to multiple pictures. You'll want to go to Window->Actions then in that pop-up, select 'create new action' (it's right next to the trash). Now you'll name your action, and it'll automatically start recording what you do, and what settings you use. When you finish, press the 'stop' button in the actions window.

Now when you get the other image you want to apply those same actions to, just open the file and press the 'play' button in the actions window.
