How do I remove backgrounds fast?

Hi

I have some images lots of them(like over 200) and I want the fastest easiest way to remove the background and keep the look of the text(ie nothing gets lost from it).

I am going to save them as transparent gifs but like I said I don't know how to do them very fast.

They all are black on white and look like this:

Use the magic wand tool. click on the white area, and hit delete. If its not PURE white you might need to change the tolerance to 10 or 20. But you shouldnt need to go too high if it's just white and black.

ok I used the magic wand and clicked on the white area and it only selects about half the white area. I have to do it in 3 parts and sometimes it deletes part of the black on it too.

You can try Quick Selection tool (the same section as Magic Wand) with different brushes.
