How do I overlay this onto that? :P

I have a taxiway diagram for the airport I fly from. I would like to overlay this diagram over an ariel view of the actual airfield. Whats the easiest way to remove the white background from the taxiway diagram so that I perform the overlay?

I would open both then take the one with the white, select all white then inverse selection > copy>paste it to the other image then size as needed

I'd use Select|Color Range then click on the white background and adjust the Fuzziness slider until it looks right.
Then hit delete.

That should get rid of the white background.

Well, Ive done it and have to say that, regardless of what color I choose, its still very difficult to read. The pic is just too busy.
