Wow - thank you! When I open up the image in PS, do I need to convert the working space at that time?

Next after fixing the image in PS I crop it to 900 x 600
Then I adjust the image size to resolution of 300 which changes the width/height to 3750 x 2500. I then change that to 900 x 600 and hit OK.
Original image properties from phone was 4000 x 3000 72 dpi

When saving as a TIFF file there is an option for CMYK but I am unable to check it.

The next part - I changed to "Discard Layers"

I realy appreciate your help. Sorry if I may be asking dumb questions but I have been using PS for some time, but always in the same way, and never mess with the settings, so I am quite intimidated by all this. I just want to check that I do things correctly.
