Hi. Here's what I wanna do: I want to find a way to make the legs and hands of this monster disappear behind the chairs, table and candle, in a way that it really feels like he is just entering the room.
how Can I do this?
The monster is a totally different layer. Everything else is one single layer.

Add a layer mask to the 'monster' layer.
With the MASK selected (Note white corners around thumbnail!!!!)...

Either:
A. Use the 'brush' tool to paint on the mask in black to hide those parts you want 'behind' objects...OR
B. Create a marquee with whatever method you wish around the parts you want to hide and fill with black.

Either way, any part of the 'mask' that is black will hide the pixels, any part that is white will show the pixels.
Fill the whole 'mask' with black and your 'monster' will vanish....fill it with white and your 'monster' will re-appear.

How good it looks will depend on your skills as an artist.

Regards.
MrTom.
