How can I make the image in the attached file in Photoshop?

Are you wanting to recreate the image you posted exactly?
You need to design what?
Make the text gold? Or make the design in actual gold metal?

Provide details, it's hard to understand exactly what your needing.

I want to recreate the image as posted exactly. I will print it and make the same thing in 10 karat gold.

I got it! Thanks!

I guess I can assume that this is NOT an image that can be scanned..........correct? What is it? Can you take a better photo of it?

I got 2 images and this is a better one. It is a name with the design at the bottom.

Celene is name and there is design at the bottom.

Please make sure that I should be able to change the name at the top in future if I get the same request from a different customer with a different name(i-e Muhammad with the same design at the bottom)

Ok, this is a Ps version (not exactly like your posted image) is this anything like what your needing?

Ok, way too slow to respond for me. This must not be that important for you. I can't help you if you don't respond.

Sorry I was busy with something. The top looks ok but how can I change it to a different name.

It shouldn't be static. It should be dynamic.

It is a stroke option as a matter fact it looks like a couple of them the darker has been rasterized and then an additional stroke perhaps with a gradient in it has been added to that. I did example without the inner darker stroke just with the gradient stroke there are many tweaking's that would be involved but you're starting point would be layer style stroke

The big background would be another matter

Photoshop has a type tool located here....

You can change the name by simply typing a new name.

iDad, I don't think they want the layer styles. They just want the text/font layer and the expanded lower layer as a basic guide for another process.

In fact, I believe a simple action will work, type the name you want and run the action to create the BG.

But I seriously doubt we're going to be able to get them to this point going this slow.

You got me here. I want the upper text to be dynamic but the bottom part will be same for other names.

Open Photoshop.
Create a new document. (You choose size)
Fill with color of choice.
Set foreground and background colors to choice.
Select the Type Tool.
Select the font.
Type the name you would like for the effect.
Make sure the Text layer is highlighted.

Open the actions panel. (Go to WINDOW > ACTIONS)
Click the create new action Icon.
Name the action, click record.

Command + Mouse click the Text layers thumbnail within the layers panel.
Hold the command key and click the create new layer Icon located at the bottom of the layers panel.
Go to SELECT > MODIFY > EXPAND, enter 20 and click OK.
Go to SELECT > REFINE EDGE > enter 12 in the smooth window, click OK. (you may have to adjust this setting)
Go to EDIT > FILL… > choose foreground or background color in the USE: drop down menu. Click OK.
Hit command + D to deselect.

Hit the STOP recording button.

You have now created an ACTION that can be used to create an expanded background to any text with just one click of a button.

Type some text. Highlight the text layer. Open the Actions Panel, choose the action that you named, Run the action.
