How Can I Improve This Webpage ie. Make It Look Professional?

Very hard to tell without a live preview because what I am spotting may be just content interavtive status change

ie above the menu bar above clothing the shadow seems to have gone or is that because that is the selected tab.

the logo top left looks like it is just overlayed on top maybe that is the effect your going for I dont know

The red may be slightly to saturated for a web graphic it may become all pixelated looking (once again a live preview would be better.

Hey Xera,

Your design is real sharp and clean.

This may be the color scheme you've been going for, but I think the site could benefit from my some white colored accents. Possibly the bar immediately under the navigation. It's a little heavy on the gray side.

I like the depth that you've included in your design. Even so, you may want to consider toning down some of the drop shadows throughout the site and add some highlights to the different elements. The red color is a great contrast, but it's a little too distracting in my opinion. I'd try knocking down the saturation level and few notches and see how it looks.

As far as text is concerned, the "Just In Stock" is difficult to read and should be a lighter color. Also the same applies for the "My Basket" button at the top. The navigation is also hard to read as it's dark gray text on a gray background.

Hope these suggestions were of help. Again, it's a great start.

I may be wrong, BUT, the red pocket on the jacket logo looks to be where the arm pit would be. I think that maybe the red that is so vivid on the black jacket would look better if the jacket was charcoal grey and shaded, like the rest of the header and nav bar.

Remove gradients from red elements or at least make them less visible.

Add details like dividers to content boxes. Add Lorem Ipsum text as that will give you more realistic look for website and help your judgement on what to fix.

I have made a very similar layout in sense of colors, check it out see some details I added like patterns and dividers:
