How can I engrave white text into an image?

Hi there...Great forum. I'm hoping some PS pro's can help me out...Thank you in advance.

I am trying to create engraved text into a graphic image, and I want the text to be white. I am following a few different tutorials I found searching the internet, and while they succeed at creating the engraved effect, the text always changes to black. When I try to change it from black to white, it turns yellow. Does anyone have a theory on how to make the text white, or a tutorial that specifically covers this?

Before you do the engraving effect, make a copy of the text so in case you need to change color or add something in case you need the original.

With that original copy, move it to the topmost layer. I don't know what your image looks like in your monitor so you might have to play around with opacity & layer modes to get the right look.
