I want to know a technique on how to clean this mirror.
I have tried Content-Aware technique with the healing brush and the result was soooo bad

Can anyone clean this one for me ?

Thanks beforehand

Content aware for me then move sliders of new content filled area to over saturated light, soft blur and then a final curves movement for me.
Photo0011.jpg How much it going for?

Looks good so far but it misses the reflection of the glass in my opinion.
It should be more "translucent".

I'm not sure I understand the term "clean", what does that mean exactly? Do you want the area removed so you can add a new reflection? Remember a mirror always reflects something...........so there's no such thing as "clean" mirror.

Try selecting part of the mirror (on duplicate layer) and content aware scale it. Finish with a mask. Add gradient fill if needed, for shading.

maybe something like this? ... i think technically it has to reflect the floor, considering the angle that it's at...? idk lol i might have made the shine a bit too much lol..

I bet your right Paul! This is such a low res, poorly framed photo, what else could it be for?

Making up for lost time there, Tracy? lol I like that multiply layer idea. but cleaning mirrors works much better with a rag and cleanser

I took a shot at it.

would the logical thing be to turn the wardrobe around so whatever is being reflected is no longer being reflected there, and then clean the mirror? it would be easier i would think, no?

Zee's approach of moving the piece is clearly the best one, along with reshooting the photo to correct the many other problems such as blur, noise, framing, etc.

That being said, I like CrzyK's replacement of the reflection in the image. I just squared up the outside as best I could, tried to bring out some texture in the wood, etc. It still stinks as a photo, but maybe it will be useful to the OP for selling it.Screen_shot_2013-04-05_at_8p43p01_PM-tjm01-acr0-ps01a-02_600px_hi.jpg

PS - Hopefully, nobody will notice the crazy angle of the reflection.
