Hi, I have a photo that I have cropped someone out of. This person is now on a black background and I was hoping to make them stand out a little less by blending them a little with the black background and then using a shadow like effect to cover their face. Any suggestions?

I think you need to show an example to get an answer to your question

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR: fatboybuzz

If you are using PHOTOSHOP CS3, Then this should be help for you.

If you select your brush option on the tool bar, then go to the "Toogle the brushes pallet" near the top of the page on the right hand side, it should open up a window, now select a brush you like the look of for a shadow. (It wont look like a shadow yet)
You should see some ticked boxes on the left hand side of that window.
I dont know what look you like, so just keep unticking and ticking until you find the right shadow look for you.
And maybe unlock and lock some of them (you should see padlock looking icons)
Reply, and I will explain more...

Hope this helps...

PS. Before you have done all this, the first thing you should do is get your "Polygon tool" and select where you want to shadow, and join back so it is flashing lines...If you dont get it, just tell me.

It would be great if you could help me too. Have a look at my message.
