Hide layer effects not in use anymore?

Hi everyone,

I just registered here and clearly i have a newbie question . So yeah as the title says i'd like to know how to REMOVE the layer effects list on a layer in the layer window. No i don't mean make the effects invisible so it doesn't affect the layer , i mean lets say if i tried some layer effects like stroke etc and i didn't like it, after i uncheck Stroke, i want to get rid of the list in the layer window because when i'm stacking many layers this uses unecessary space and makes things confusing if i'm just glancing through layers etc.. right click layer > clear layer style?

Thanks, funny thing is i figured it as just seconds after opening this thread lol.. Oh well i guess thats how we learn .. Thanks though anyways!

You can also hide it if you actually want to keep the styles and not have them clutter up your palette..

Or if you double click the style, you can alter the settings if you just need to adjust.
