Hi. I have both photoshop CS4 and CS5 and I'm not very experienced. So far, I've basically used it for making gifs/adding textures to photos and stuff. However, recently I've wanted to try stuff like removing photos from their backgrounds and moving them somewhere else (like blends of a certain celeb or something) and other things. I just can't find a reliable tutorial that helps me extract a picture from a background neatly. Most of the time it ends up choppy and parts get cut out and stuff.

How do you extract images yourself? Is there a different method you use for hair?

If you're looking for specific images if you want to try to extract what I want, PM me and I'll send them. :)
