Hi!, newb needs help

Hi guys i just registered cuz even tough i've always find the Photoshop world to be interesting i've never found the time to actually learn. But oh well lets get in topic;

I have a little project in mind and i could use some help, i won't ask you to do this for me or anything like that, but if you could tell me what tutorials i should watch or what techniques i have to learn that would be REALLY helpful

I want to make a Facebook timeline cover with a effect that looks somewhat like this:

Yeah Borderlands

Of course it would have my face and i would be "shooting MY brains out",
i'm not sure how difficult this could be so ANY help would be appreciate.

That's a first step alright, face swapping. Good direction there Iam. But you're a newbie to Photoshop? What a way to just jump in, lol. Of course, if all you want to accomplish is the face swap, then easy enough! Good luck. Come back if you have more issues with your project.
