Hello there,
This is an image of my friends, who created it in corel draw, unfortunately I don't have Corel, could you guys please tell me how to achieve similar results in Photoshop? This is their picture on top of a landscape pic, I have no clue how to obtain such faces outline result in PS.
Thank you in advance,
Bart

It couldn't be easier!

Put the woman / couple on the bottom layer. Put the sunset photo on a layer above it and adjust the opacity to taste.

For slightly better results, duplicate the sunset layer and set the blending mode of the topmost copy of it to "normal" with an opacity ~60%. Set the blending mode of the middle layer to "Color" and it's opacity to 100%, as seen in the attached screen grab.

Obviously, different component pix will yield different overall results. For example, in the image you posted, the photo of the couple was of much higher contrast than the woman in the example I posted.

HTH,

You are almost certainly right, Clare. Since the OP didn't sound like he was very familiar with PS (eg, may not even know about layers, blending modes, etc.), I didn't want to overload him right at the start.

@OP - to achieve higher contrast in the faces using the layer stack I suggested, just insert a "brightness / contrast" adjustment layer immediately above the lowest (aka, background) layer and crank up the contrast on the original, as Clare correctly suggests.
