I'm a digital photo-illustrator who's getting his feet wet in the 3D capabilities of cs5 extended. :banghead: This is pretty much how I feel right now.

Thanks for the welcome. I need your help. I bought a library of models created in 3D Studio Max with vray and haven't been able to import the meshes with their mtl files and jpeg texture maps into cs5 extended. Any suggestions

I was able to import the meshes as a 3ds file but was limited to the number of faces and the resultant quality was hit or miss. I could also import obj files as a single mesh comprised of what should have been several separate meshes. In both cases without a connection to their mtl files or their jpeg texture files. I heard that there is a vray plug-in for photoshop. Would that help and if so where can i get it?
