As per suggestion from ALB68, I'd like to introduce myself to the community.

I'm a recent college graduate who works in radio and in sports journalism, and I recently got CS5. I have a little experience with Adobe Premiere and I took a class on InDesign, but that's about where my experience ends with any CS5 programs.

I joined the forums because I've always been extremely impressed by the things I've seen from you guys all over the internet, and because I'd really like to learn more about how to use photoshop, indesign and other Adobe programs as I'm currently pursuing a master's in sports management for a career in sports media. That means I'll need to use photoshop, indesign, premiere and a bevy of other programs to help keep myself and the teams I'm connected to marketable.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and a special thanks to ALB68 for his advice on getting started here first and to Paul for 'shopping that photo that I posted, no questions asked.

I look forward to my continued involvement here, and the lessons I'll learn.

Hi awelch91 and welcome to the forum. The best way to learn Photoshop, is to practice......even when you think you don't have the time.

Hiya and welcome to the forum. Photoshop can be overwhelming at first, yeah, but once you jump in and start learning how things work, you'll be making beautiful creations in no time at all.
