I'm brand new here, and have come to ask a question. I'm also pretty new to photoshop, so please excuse my simple, if not stupid, question. I've been using the Content Aware feature, which is fantastic, but for some reason I can't always get it to work. Most of the time I just use the lasso tool to outline what I want to remove, then go to Edit>Fill>Content Aware. But for some reason, about 40% of the time when I do this, the Fill command isn't an option. Something about my smart object not being editable. But I'm not sure what I'm doing differently to get different results.
Thanks for any advice. Also, sorry if this isn't the place I should be asking my question. There's just a lot on this site to check out and get acquainted with, and I'm hoping to get a quick answer since I'm stuck on something I'm working on.
