hi guys, been dabbling with photoshop for a while, mostly just for daft stuff, but i've started looking into creating artwork for my band etc, any tips etc for this kind of work?

Can you be more specific with what you would like tips on? There's a lot of helpful members here but your request is extremely vague.

Play around with many layers and filters... Brushes too.
