Helpppp!!!!

I was playing around with making dotted lines, and now I can't make any extensions to my canvas. Serious problem, please help me troubleshoot.

For some reason it will not let me choose a color for my canvas extension...

I just want a plain, boring, solid color canvas extension!!

Hi Emily, there are few ways to extend or expand your canvas. The color of the extended area will be determined by your setting under Background Contents that you used when you created a new document or by creating a new layer below your subject layer and filling it with white AFTER you expand the canvas.

One is to go to IMAGE > CANVAS SIZE > enter the new size and in what measurement.



Another is to use the Crop Tool along with its options.

It appears to me from your screen shot that you a referring to something entirely different. Please post a screen shot of your layers panel.

Hey Emily, I don't see the gray toothed border........did you figure out how to remove it?

I just tried it and it's not doing it anymore. I didn't change anything! So weird. Sorry, thanks!
