I was just wondering if anyone knows how to achieve this particular style and would happily give me step-by-step instructions.

Pretty straight forward. The text has a bevel plus a drop shadow created using layer fx. Looks like the text also has a gradient overlay created once again by layer fx. Then just a layer opacity adjustment.
