ok, so last nite i was playing around in photoshop cs with the pen tool, i was making curvy paths and stroking them with simulate pressure checked, and with a hard round brush of 19 pixels i think it was, anyways it was late so i left my computer on, photoshop open, and went to go lay down, today when i got back on my computer, i continued to try to make the curvy paths with the simulate pressure checked, and it just wont do it, its stroking them normally, ive tried all the options, i have no idea what to do, so frusterating, anyone have an idea why the simulate pressure option suddenly stopped working?

heres a pic to show what i mean, the first line is showing it with the pressure on, second one, the simulate pressure is still on, but it just wont do it :/

First, look at the Brushes palette and make sure Shape Dynamics is still checked. I'm presuming you are Alt/Option clicking on the button at the bottom of the Paths palette to bring up the Stroke dialog where you select Simulate Pressure. If that isn't the issue, did you try quitting and relaunching Photoshop? Trashing the preferences?

As well... the settings for "Shape Dynamics" need to be:

- "Minimum Diameter" set to less than 100%,
- and the dynamic 'Control' set to "Pen Pressure".
