I am wanting to use this image for a t-shirt. is there not a way to only select the white pixels and move them to a transparent background (like a sticker)? I need them printed on black shirts, but don't want a black square in the background if that makes sence?

Thanks guys!
Ryan

Try Select > Color Range....Save as a .PNG file...Sorry not got more time to explain in detail..

It will be hard to see without a background, But if you save it as a png you can save the transparency

thanks guys! i will definitely try this in the morning. i'll just put a black layer in between the background and design to make sure it looks ok, then delete it for print.

Sounds like a plan. Use the refine edge or refine mask after you make the selection or it could be really awful. I suggest adding a layer mask to the selection, then you can zoom in and around the image and clean up edges.
