I use Photoshop a lot for web design and only a little for my own work so am not very knowledgeable for certain features but would like to learn some techniques so am looking for a tutorial on blending two images together like when you place a person into an image but have to adjust the light and other things thanks for any help you have to offer

no thanks for trying but i mean something more like if you have the two images below and want to put the golfer on the rooftop i can easily cut him out and put into other picture but how do i make it realistic

Hi raz. What you want to do can't be done with that photo of Tiger. They are shot from from two completely different camera angles and will never look right. You need to find a shot of Tiger from the same angle as the roof shot, preferably similar lighting(Lit from upper, back, left side)

Then it's a matter of making sure the resolutions are the same on both pictures before you cut Tiger out and move him, adjusting Tigers saturation, over all tint(meaning Tiger is warmly lit and needs a slight cooling filter to match the roof) and the proper shadow put in place. Blur the edges of the Tiger cutout and you should have a fairly realistic result. :)

Hi Fatboy73 i was only using them images as examples just quickly grabbed any two pictures but your way sounds good so I will try that later thanks for your help
