Help with making these lines

Hey all, I need some help reproducing these lines.

You'll see an orange curved line with gradient and a dashed curved line. I have no clue how to make these in photoshop. I am running cs4 on MAC osx Snow Leopard. Even a link to a tutorial will suffice, this is for work so any help would be greatly appreciated, you would be saving my ass!!!. Thanks in advance.

Draw both shapes with the pen tool, fill the left one with orange, fill the right one with the proper pattern (you have to make that one yourself, easy).
