Hi there.

I'm new to animated gifs, but wanted to add some text in the middle 10 or so frames of an existing animated gif.

I have the gif and all of it's frames open in imageready, but when I add the text - it adds it to every frame prior to where I insert it - rather than the frames selected on the animation film strip.

I'm sure this is a really simple thing - but I just can't work it out!

- Add the text
- Click on the eye in front of the layer to hide the text in all frames (you might have to select all frames first)
- Ctrl + click and/or shift + click to select the frames that need the text
- Click on the eye in front of the text layer again to show only the text in those selected frames

Will it work adding a 2nd lot of text?

There are some 50 frames and I want text 10-25 and then 35-45.

Do I just repeat what you said?
